CASA-EP volunteers act as investigators, employing a holistic approach to collecting and providing a judge with valuable information on the child and his/her total environment in order to help the court make a sound decision about the child's placement. When it is in the best interest of the child our volunteers research and guide parents and other caregivers to resources they may need, like treatment programs, help with housing and employment and medical assistance. But, perhaps most importantly, CASA-EP volunteers often provide the children we serve with consistency and hope—our volunteers are often the only adults who are with the child from the time his/her case is opened until that child is placed in a safe and permanent  home.  One by one CASA-EP volunteers are standing up to ensure that the children of the Eastern Panhandle who have been affected by neglect and abuse have the best possible chance at a bright future—YOU SHOULD JOIN US.

Our goal is to promote horsemanship in Berkeley County and surrounding area by holding Jackpot Barrel Races, Open shows, Youth and NBHA rodeos, 4-H riding programs, pony club events, equine educational seminars and all eventing competitions for the English and Western enthusiasts! We would like to have a high school rodeo association in place for kids whose interests are not on the conventional athletic program offered in schools. Also, there are plans in the near future for a therapeutic riding program using horses for the treatment of both adults and children with physical, mental, and emotional needs.
